Hi, I’m Rosie,
an 18 year old girl living in Melbourne, Australia. I love baking… cakes,
cookies, doughnuts, pastry, macarons, tarts, pies… need I go on? I love
anything and everything sugary, and much to my friends delight I love feeding
people, sometimes to the extent where I aggressively suggest that people try a cookie or a
cupcake, or whatever else I’ve stuffed into my Tupperware containers to take to
school.
I spend more time thinking about food than I care to admit, occasionally
(or constantly) having a sneaky glance over to Pinterest for some cake-spiration
during class. However my baking fetish ends with sugar. I can’t cook savoury
food. Well, at least I shouldn’t, as except for a few choice dishes, most of my
adventures into the world of savoury cuisine (referred to by some as ‘real food’,
urgh,) are epic failures of overly herby stews and wildly undercooked steaks.
I
love birthdays, cats, dinner parties and anything with a theme, as you’ll see
in my seasonal zines which can be picked up for free at Essential Ingredient
stores in Melbourne and Sydney.
